Registration Checklist

Welcome from UMHB Administration!

The below checklist is intended to assist you with ensuring that you complete all important entry tasks.  Contact information for each office is also provided should you have any questions.

Residence Life     254-295-4590     residencelife@umhb.edu

Campus housing for Fall 2017 opens on Wednesday, August 16th for most students.  Participants of certain athletic teams and other student groups, however, may have been instructed to move-in at a different date/time. Those students should comply with the directions given to them by their coach/sponsor/director. Residents of Beall, Stribling, Burt, Gettys, McLane, Remschel, and Johnson Halls will be receiving a packet in the mail with specific instructions for check-in, including an assigned check-in time. It is very important to read all of the instructions prior to move-in day. Adherence to your assigned time is required and no exceptions will be made.

Health Services     254-295-4623     healthservices@umhb.edu

MEDICAL INSURANCE

UMHB strongly suggests that each student maintain medical insurance. UMHB is not responsible for any medical expenses you may incur while enrolled as a UMHB student.  If you do not currently have medical insurance, we will be happy to provide you with a list of resources.  Some medical insurance policies require you to use an approved network of doctors, hospitals, and clinics. Please contact your insurance carrier for details, and, if applicable, obtain a list of approved healthcare providers in the Belton/Temple area to determine what steps, if any, you should take to change your point of service (POS) to our area. The zip code for Belton is 76513.  Be sure to bring a copy of your insurance card with you when you come to UMHB.

IMMUNIZATIONS

UMHB recommends you to keep all of your immunizations current. The Texas Department of Health publishes a list of suggested immunizations for your age group (http://www.dshs.state.tx.us). Check 12th grade requirements for semester (year prior to your enrollment).
