Throughout the succeeding degree requirements, certain core courses have been grouped into categories. The following is a breakdown of these groupings.

Art, Drama, Music, and Communication
- Humanities:
Archeology, Art, Drama, Music, Philosophy, Communication, HIST 1311 (History of World Civilizations to 1500) and HIST 1312 (History of World Civilizations since 1500), and WRIT 3341 (Creative Writing)
